What's your everyday / low key perfume for Autumn and Winter?

I have Portrait of a Lady, Opium and YSL Libre on the go but they don't feel right for everyday wear, working from home etc. I am wearing Cashmere from Next most days at the moment and I love it, but would love some other suggestions

What perfume are you all wearing for low key days at the moment?

My go-to is always Coco by Chanel. Been wearing it for years

CuteCillian · 14/11/2023 21:17

I'm wearing Jo Malone Gingerbiscuit ! It really is a bit weird, but when I'm pottering locally it's just giving me an autumnal/winter coziness. It's certainly only appropriate for this time of year so I'm spraying it liberally and my DH and DC are loving it.

SwedishEdith · 14/11/2023 21:18

Youth Dew is wintery and cheap.

FelicityFlops · 14/11/2023 21:26

YSL Black Opium, even elicits compliments from strangers!

Lottapianos · 14/11/2023 21:29

Thanks for the link @Franklyfrank . It sounds gorgeous, and I love that they do a 15ml size - I always get bored way before the end of a 30ml bottle! Does it last well through the day?

CK Obsession
Gallivant Istanbul
Le jardin retrouve Oriental Sans souci
4160tuesdays Shazam!
Dior Oud isphahan

EverybodyJumpsuit · 14/11/2023 21:48

Le Labo Patchouli- (doesn’t smell of patchouli though! really cosy and warm- It’s pricey but it last so well- stays on clothes for a few days etc. really recommend. You can get little testers for not too much.

Franklyfrank · 14/11/2023 22:34

I think it lasts ok @Lottapianos. It becomes a bit more musky and subtle as the day goes on. I have the small size to carry with me to top up if needed.

Glossier You for WFH/running errands days

I like estee Lauder knowing at this time of year

Watchthedoormat · 14/11/2023 23:45

A drop d'issey is my new find. I'm loving it.
Dior Addict ( blue bottle) though is my ultimate autumn/winter fragrance- but not sure it's 'everyday'.

Pigeon31 · 15/11/2023 08:46

Low key, not too expensive autumn perfumes for me:
-Wild Blackberry - the white company - it’s sort of a dupe for jo Malone Blackberry and Bay.
-Noir- also the white company- and also very similar to jo Malone Dark Amber & ginger lily.
I think both cost £30

low key but quite expensive- annick goutal - vanille exquise- non sweet vanilla and almond 🤤
Tam Dao Diptyque- dark& woody & mysterious & atmospheric, but not a going out scent

Lottapianos · 15/11/2023 14:01

Thanks @SecondClassmyass . How is the longevity with the White Company scents? I've never bothered with Jo Malone because notoriously the scent fades very quickly after you spray it, and I can't be doing with that!

Warmth is a (good) dupe for Le Labo Santal 33.

Sounds fab, thanks to both of you!

@Lottapianos the longevity is surprisingly good 👍

So I ordered a sample of Patchouli and oh my god I’m in love. It actually smells exactly like a perfume I had years ago that I’ve been searching for.

I’ve just seen the price for a regular bottle though😫

so thank you sort of @EverybodyJumpsuit 😁

clowniform · 17/11/2023 20:16

For cosy snuggly days I'm switching between Le Labo Gaiac 10, Serge Lutens 5 O'Clock au Gingembre, L'Artisan Tea for Two, Byredo Gypsy Water, Diptyque Tam Dao. I would love cheaper options but my body chemistry tends to amplify sweetness which knocks out a lot of this genre.
