A question about nail polish

I have a colour that looks really good on my toes and awful on my finger nails. Is that quite common?

I have colours that I only use for my feet and others that only look good on hands. I thought that was quite normal?

I only ever wear colour on my feet and french manicured on hands.
I hate painted fingernails.
Think lots of colours look great on toes though

I wear really dark colours on both, and love them. Peachy pearlised colours look revolting on me.
