Cheaper version of VB satin kajal eye liner

Anyone know of a decent but cheaper version of the Victoria Beckham satin kajal eyeliner? I love the range of colours and how they look on the models but can't justify £30 for an eye pencil.

Following! I read Avon and Urban Decay ones are good.

I use Avon gel eyeliner

I like Trish McEvoy Intense Gel Eyeliner (£22) and Nars High Pigment Longwear (also £22) if I'm feeling flush, and if I'm not, Rimmel Soft Kohl Kajal (£3) does the job nicely!

I wouldn’t recommend the VB ones anyway, I bought 2 and they require a lot of work to get any sort of sensible look with them. Smudgy and crumbly, one of them arrived with the smudger end snapped/broken and the lid doesn’t come off, they’re impossible to sharpen even with the vb sharpener, I even tried putting the pencils in the fridge. I donated mine to the dc for fancy dress makeup 😂
the colours are absolutely beautiful but I’m not very skilled, perhaps if you’re better at makeup applications than me they’re worth it - I’m more of a speedy one and done type of makeup wearer and don’t want to have to work so hard to achieve a simple look.

I like urban decay but they aren't similar at all. And Avon is an MLM.

The urban decay ones are good. Stay put all day on me.

Yes, how the hell do you sharpen the wretched things? I love mine but literally 97% of it left, unusable because you can't sharpen the damn thing

tinklylaugh01 · 13/11/2023 23:03

Lisa Eldridge are similar, I’ve found.

Getoverit1965 · 13/11/2023 23:21

I'm glad I'm not the only person that doesn't get the hype. I prefer Avon glimmersticks.

Getabloominmoveon · 13/11/2023 23:27

I’ve got a VB pencil with its own tiny sharpener and I still prefer my cheap Rimmel one. Save your £££!

Edithisoverthere · 13/11/2023 23:30

Really don't rate them, not worth the money for me. My go-to is pump up kohl Kajal in brown. It's by a dodgy sounding brand called Miss Sporty but is great either on its own or blending with eyeshadow. Cheap as chips too.

Beefcurtains79 · 14/11/2023 06:42

I sent mine back to VB as it broke when I sharpened it. They sent me a new one, which wasn’t much better tbh.
