I tried these on, they were perfect, I dithered, they were gone. Sold out in my size online and in every branch I've tried. Sob!

Can anyone help with finding an alternative (that's not sold out!). I'm usually an 8 but needed a 6 in these.

@IamSallyBowles thank you - what's the sizing like in Seasalt? I'm guessing it's better to size down?

@AdoringDavidAttenborough , I think Seasalt are fairly true to size but the next size up/down tend to be inches bigger or smaller. Look at their size guide.

Lucy and Yak Billie, elasticated waist, come in a variety of colours and are very comfy.

Seasalt very usefully give the measurements for each garment, each size, on their website, so it’s easier to find the right size for you if you know your measurements.

M and s have some wide leg cords this year in a few colours which are surprisingly nice!

I have those Oliver Bonas trousers in aqua green, OP - agree they're fab. But I recently bought these from Uniqlo, which are also very nice. Not green, but the brown is a lovely autumnal shade.

I have the Seasalt ones that @IamSallyBowles has linked- sizing is fairly standard. I'm an 8-10 and the 8 fit fine for me.

Does anyone find a lot of fabric around the crotch in seasalt cords?
I was tempted but a few reviews put me off.

I am seeing a lot of images like this and it's really disturbing, there's a ton of fabric folding in the wrong place..
