Casual sparkly dress

I have literally one thing I can wear out at the moment and I'd like another option. I prefer a casual glam style rather than being really dressed up. Loose dresses suit me better than separates because I have a tummy and I don't like to feel constricted or have it poking out. Also just prefer a dress to a jeans and top look. I'm a size 12 average height.

Worth looking on Vinted - fair few All Saints, Hobbs, Whistles, Arket items that might suit you if you're happy with second hand.

Problem is I'm not in the U.K. and those brands don't come up in Europe much 😩 I don't know why but Vinted won't allow me to see the U.K. site. But yes good idea in theory

i have this, it’s gorgeous and very flattering. I’m the same size / shape as you by the sounds of it and ordered a M.

I have one that is very similar, knitted, berry coloured with sequins. Loose fit and mid-thigh length. It's from Oasis about 5 years ago. It is a great dress as you can wear it out for a Christmas lunch or nipping to the shops if you're just feeling a bit festive!

There definitely are a few alternatives to the all saints one kicking around but if you're not in the UK I'm not sure what your options are. Are you in Europe?

That me & em dress is beautiful but far too close fitting for someone of my figure unfortunately for me!

Hush used to do a metallic v neck loose fit dress that was all sparkly lurex. Have a look on Vinted. I've got a non sparkly version and it's comfy and flattering.

I think I may have ordered a version of this last year and had to return as even the size 12 was too large for me (I'm normally a 14-16).

@ShinyAppleDreamingOfTheSea Yes that's the one! Some on Vinted, they're meant to be oversized but small or 10 is fine for me at 12/14.

Yes - I have that hush dress from a year or two ago and it is massive, I am usually a 12 but the 12 is very big.
