Treats for a self-neglected pregnant women

Hello

I’m 3 month pregnant and have a toddler. Despite being in a good financial position, I’ve become very obsessed with saving and not spending any money on myself in the last few years. To the extent that I’ve gotten myself quiet down about it.

inspired by a recent thread of frugality, I’ve decided that I should treat myself. (Don’t worry - kids are provided for, savings in hand, partner delighted I’m breaking out of my self imposed stinge-prison!)

I have about £250 and I would like some make up updates, I’ve heard NYX have some really good dupes, which sounds great. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Also, if anyone has any suggestions for smart casual dresses that might see me through part of the pregnancy and afterwards, I’d welcome any guidance! (I’m thinking Sunday lunch, not night out!)

im a pear shaped size 14, about 5’10. Not really into designer, like clothes that aren’t too clingy and fairly simple make up.

Good quality affordable is my vibe.

Extremely grateful for any help! Thank you

I had a lot of maternity clothes from JoJo Maman Bebe and Seraphine. It's worth looking on vinted or looking out for sales.

Elf and NYX both do good dupes. My basic makeup is foundation, eyebrow gel, mascara and blusher. This is achievable for me with two little ones. L'Oréal get good reviews on their foundation. It might be nice to have one higher end product to feel like you've treated yourself more.

If you're after things for relaxation, I really liked the space masks when pregnant the second time. They are self heating lavender scented eye masks. Sounds odd but they are nice I promise!
