I'm unsure about this jumper from Arket

What do you think? I really love it ordered a size s but need to swap it for an xs as it's oversized fit and it swamps me a bit I think

But it's £97! Made from 100 percent alpaca wool

Thoughts?

I really like it looks wise - especially the sleeves - but it would swamp me too and I find alpaca itchy personally. For that price I’d want cashmere (can pay this for decent cashmere in the sales but perhaps not right now).

I was just going to say that I don't find alpaca itchy - I'm converted to it. Guess it's different for different people.

It's actually really soft! I'm also a little confused about sizing I feel the size on the model is a bit big on me

I have this jumper without the high neck - in fact I have it in multiple colours I have collected over the years. I like the oversized fit personally. I’m a 10/12 and wear small. The fabric is really soft and not itchy at all.

(My cat has one of these jumpers too. I put it in her bed last year when she was really upset by fireworks and she settled immediately - it was a Depop buy in a colour that didn’t end up suiting me, so it’s hers now.)

I'm a size 8 on top so I think I might need to swap the S for XS as still oversized

I like it, if you are going oversized the I prefer it large ish on fit though as otherwise just just looks big iyswim

I have it in a round neck - size small. I bought it in a different colour in a size medium this week and I am debating whether to keep it as the oversized look is nice but the neck on the medium is too big for me.

I’ve worn my first one so much. But it has fuzzed a bit down the sides in particular. . It’s ok as it’s grey and not so noticeable. It would be noticeable on a lighter colour though - just in case anyone is wondering about how it wears over time.

Yes, OP, Arket do that jumper with a round neck too. I tend to wear them with a white crew neck tee underneath. Yours looks great.

Thank you, I think it's probably just because I'm not used to the feel of an oversized fit - fashions have changed and I guess I'm still stuck in the skin tight clothing mindset!

But you're right it does look nice - I think anyway! Wasn't sure on the colour at first but I'm also loving it
