Girls winter coat - must be lightweight

I need a winter coat for my 6 year old.
She hates anything long and refuses to wear a thick, padded coat.

Are there any thin padded coats that are warm enough for Winter??

Try the lighthouse ones.

It's difficult to get a sense of how light they are online but they are extremely lightweight and the 'padding' is a thin fleecy material.

They sell online but quite a few independent type shops also stock them as well.

We've had a few lighthouse coats and they wear/wash really well as well.
