I'm going round in circles trying to find a warm and waterproof ankle length coat that will keep me warm watching my sons play sport this winter. I have looked at super dry and landsend etc but would be grateful for advice please

Equidry, fleece lined with hood. Excellent, have one for dog walking

Didriksons Leya Long parka - I've had this two years now, it's totally waterproof, wonder proof and really warm. Comes down to my ankles and is the best coat I've ever owned. Depends on your budget but if you can stretch I would recommend.

I have a few Landsend coats op. They last years and years. I have 3 of the down ones. Two in my size and one in a few sizes bigger to put an extra coat underneath to sit and watch dd ride in the winter. They’re great and I think equal to Canada Goose in warmth and keeping you dry if a lot less stylish… For reference, my dd has a Canada Goose jacket.

As a tip, I wash my LE waterproof coats in mild soap flakes.

I was coming on to say the same thing. I've had so many compliments about this coat but it has been a life saver for me at sporting events. When I'm warm I'm happy and that's better for everyone. Grin

I’m on the same mission. I did buy one from Lands End but wasn’t keen on the furry bit on the hood (the whole hood was removable, but not just the furry bit) - am not adverse to a bit of fake fur but it wasn’t a particularly nice version. Rest of coat itself was lovely and very warm, but I returned it as if I’m spending £100+ on a coat it has to be perfect.

M&S have a good one for £99 but it’s been out of stock in my size for ages.

Thank you so much! I have a Didrikson which is good for dog walking but it stops above my knee and I find the gap between that and my wellies gets soaking wet and cold!
I will have a look at all of these options- thank you all
