Does anyone have experience of Hawes and Curtis?

They've started appearing in my FB feed and on the face of it, lots of nicely cut cotton shirts in nice colours and prints, at reasonable prices. They could solve my work and casual wardrobe woes in one go, but I've never heard of them and am wary of FB advertising.

No but they appeared on my FB feed today as well after searching for women's shirts on Charles Twyhitt

I used to buy shirts there in the mid 2000s. I would imagine they are ramping up advertising as they have lost a lot of the office market.

Are they as good as they look? What's the quality like?. I'm thinking the printed ones and jewel coloured ones could be the basis of both my work wardrobe, with wide leg trousers and leather trainers and my have made a bit bit of an effort for a night in the pub with jeans wardrobe.

It’s years since I bought them but they always used to be good.

They come up on Vinted a lot.

DH likes their cotton shirts. He tends to stock up when they go on sale. Quality is reasonable for the price.

DH likes their shirts. They are better quality than TM Lewis nowadays.

What is their sizing like?

Yes, they’re lovely quality and last really well. Sizing slightly on the small side.

I bought lots of their shirts years ago and I'm selling them now as they don't fit me anymore.

I had to double check the fabric composition as they were so soft but with a sheen I couldn't believe they were 100% cotton and didn't have something synthetic added. Beautiful quality.
