What would I wear with these trousers?!

Fellow Mumsnetters- last year I bought these black sequin trousers. They're fairly tight fitting. Im a large size 12 with challenges to find clothes to fit my tummy. If I was to wear these trousers out over the Christmas period, what on earth do I wear them with top and footwear wise, OR do they return to the wardrobe for another year?! They're so comfy

On your feet heeled boots or block heel shoes/sandals.

What colour, material?

It's a bit Tuxedo like. You could equally go with a dark colour. And you could get crepe instead of velvet.

You could equally try a soft jumper but would have to make sure the sequins didn't pull on it,
