Saturday afternoon outfit

It's Saturday afternoon at 3pm and you're going out into your nearest city for drinks with friends. What are you wearing?

Dressy? Any excuse to put on a dress or smart outfit.
Casual? It's only a Saturday afternoon, not evening.

For info, in my local (Northern) city there are people dressed up to the nines by 1pm although many people out shopping are also in the bars/restaurants.

I think I'd wear a dress with thick tights, boots and a leather jacket with an umbrella in my bag and thermals underneath the dress a scarf and possibly gloves , I'm in a northern town and it's cold and wet lol 😂

Dress, tights, flat boots, leather jacket and big scarf if not too cold/wet.

I'd wear tapered jeans, probably black, boots, then either a round neck jumper or a high neck top with a round neck cardigan and dress things up with jewellery and make up.

I'm in London and don't wear dresses (two things not connected 😆).

Leather culottes. Flat suede, knee high boots. Cropped sheepskin jacket. Not sure what underneath - maybe a thin silk and wool sweater.

I only own one of these items so, realistically, I’d just have to wear what’s in my wardrobe.

I have exactly this situation next week. I plan to wear straight leg dark demin jeans, silver Superga pumps, a black structured puff sleeved t shirt with a low scoped back and tied at the top with a gros grain ribbon or a black silk mix blouse with tiny white stars.

if it is colder I may wear a knee length black sweat shirt dress with rainbow striped cuffs, thick colourful opaque tights (either red or purple) and bronze brogues (Nineties vibes)

One friend wore a knitted maxi dress with heeled boots, the other wore cropped black jeans and a top, a leather look overshirt and heeled boots

Northern here too. I would do wide leg jeans, nice blouse with a thin thermal underneath with a good coat and Converse.

Also northern city yesterday afternoon- black wide leg trousers, fine black merino jumper, black and leopard print trainers, leopard print belt and tan coloured biker style jacket.

Last time I did this (casual place) I wore rolled up grey jeans, a black printed pussy bow blouse, black waistcoat and flat black boots.

@RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie It is great - I got it from Finery - when their clothes were interesting.

I had a few similar ones years ago - I like an 'elevated' t-shirt, but it's harder than ever to find nice ones.
