Winter shirt dress

I'm looking for a belted shirt dress to wear this winter and am drawing a blank - wondered if anyone can help please? I'm a size 12-14, 5'8 and want something long sleeved to wear for every day, midi or calf length. I work from home and I'd like something that feels a bit cosy ie. flannel rather than viscose, so don't mind paying a bit more for the right dress.

Here's the tricky bit - I hate fussy dresses so don't want pouffy sleeves, frills or tiered skirts. I'd prefer something with blue/purple/green (yellow/brown/rust don't suit me), don't mind a pattern or check/animal prints but don't like small ditsy florals.

Have tried John Lewis, M&S, Hobbs, Jigsaw, Cos,Arket,H&M, Poetry, Found a couple of Brora check dresses I liked but they have 3/4 sleeves so no good; also a Ralph Lauren checked one but it's black and white so not my preferred colours. If anyone can find anything, I would be very grateful. Didn't think it would be this hard!!

I’ve just realised my House of Bruar links don’t work. Bizarre. And Mn isn’t letting me load photos as they’re too big. Anyway, if you have a google, you’ll find them. The first linked one is checked.

The sleeves on the Brora dress I linked are full length. The model has pushed them up - see the TU dress, that’s the same.

Muji do cosy flannel. At the moment the only flannel dress I could see has a stand collar but is a good length. Comes in three colours too. https://www.muji.eu/product/womens-flannel-stand-collar-long-dress-18082.muji

Joanie usually have shirt dresses.

Tu might be worth a look - I got a really lovely brushed cotton one last year.

I’d also consider unbelted dresses - you can always add a belt.

Hi everyone , I am just looking for an opinion, I recently got a tattoo for my two girls . I got there birth flowers but the tattooist did it much bigger then i wanted . My friend arranged the tattoo as she wanted similar for her children but I think there was a mix up with sizing . I asked the tattooist to shrink the tattoo down which she did and then I went ahead . I’m regretting it now it was supposed to be a small dainty tattoo but now it takes up about half my forearm .
should I get it lasered off and eventually get what I actually want or keep it ?

Uniqlo usually do shirt dresses, I have a navy needle cord version. You could look on eBay

I have the braekburn denim skirt dress. I really like it. Fabric is thick enough for winter but not stiff.

Thank you all for your replies! Yes, brushed cotton would be great if I can find something suitable. I loved the shape of that checked one from House of Bruar @Mummyoflittledragon , but I don't want brown unfortunately. They have some other nice shirt dresses but most of them have breast pockets which I also don't want!

Funnily enough, I bought the Baukjen dress last year @MsDastardley , but sent it back as the shoulders were too pouffy and gathered - I have wide shoulder anyway, so looked like I'd stepped off the rugby field; if not for that, it would have been perfect! Will look at Muji - hadn't thought of them; don't think Uniqlo have anything at the moment. I don't really want cord as it's a bit bulky, and I live in jeans anyway so would prefer not denim. The search continues!
