Best re-selling platform for men's country clothing?

A family member is having a clear-out and I offered to sell some items on his behalf. They are all in great condition and good makes; sought-after brands if you are into mid-/upmarket country clothing but probably of little interest to anyone else.

I used to sell on eBay a bit, but then discovered Vinted and have found it hard to go back to eBay given the fees. Plus my friend group (20s and 30s) have shifted almost entirely to Vinted. However, I wonder if for this type of clothing it might be better to go back to eBay? I've spoken to a few of DP's friends who might be in the market for this kind of stuff and they've only ever heard of eBay.

Doing this entirely as a favour fwiw, but don't want to disappoint on price or take too long!

You could put it on Ebay. Country clothing sells if it's a brand that someone will search for and in a regular size.

List it when the fees are reduced.
Price it realistically and have the auction end at a practical time (e.g. 7 p.m. on a Sunday not 3 a.m. on a Tuesday), or list it as Buy it now if it will only attract one bidder.

@MerryChristmasToYou thank you. Can I just ask what you mean by "when the fees are reduced" - I didn't realise that they changed!? Thanks again.

@newusername763849 , when you've sold a few things ebay sends you an email giving you 80% off selling fees.

@MerryChristmasToYou thank you so much, I had completely ignored all the emails from eBay about this! All signed up to the discount now, got a long evening ahead 🫠 thanks again.

You are more than welcome. I have a few parcels to send out. Things seem to sell randomly. I listed an item of country clothing yesterday evening and it's had a lot of interest already.

Posters say that things won't sell because of the price, but I find that they will if someone will be looking for it. Whether you list something for 99p or £39.99 it still won't sell if no one is actively looking for it.

I suggest you list it something like:
[Brandname] [size] [type] [fabric] [colour]
e.g.
Barbour Beadnell UK 12 thornproof wax jacket olive

I'd need to be desperate to buy something with an adjective in the listing title, and absence of size is annoying.
e.g. Gorgeous/Stunning/Beautiful black boots
The item is usually not gorgeous/stunning/beautiful, and I have to open the listing to find what size it is.
Clark's UK5 mid-calf lace-up brogue boots black leather
is better.
Good luck!
