Sweaty Betty Gone Downhill - Alternative to Gary's

I assume this is as a result of their sale (as in the company has been sold, not that they have a sale on).

I used to love the Gary's. Honestly they were so comfy and flattering and would last 5-6 years, washed often. I just bought two pairs online. Seems that the reviews on the website now are hideous too.

Anyone else noticed? Can anyone please suggest an alternative?

I’m in the same boat as I love the old Garys and I’m unimpressed with the flimsy fabric they’ve replaced them with. I’ve been wondering about trying Boden’s harem pants as an alternative.

I know! It depresses me so much, I especially loved the cropped style and always hoped they do a heavier weight for winter so that I could wear with lace up boots. I loved the soft, slimming waist.
My most recent pair look horribly shiny and cheap. Another one bites the dust, eh? So sick of this race to the bottom with greedy brands.

I like these from White Company, they look like a very similar shape but with more substance, have not worn them though.

They look good! I love that the Gary's came in different colours. I had the navy and they were perfect.

Following - am off to bed. Am gutted!! Hope to wake up to lots of brilliant alternatives 😴

The Gary's were comfortable but didn't look baggy. Gaia's are baggy and frumpy. Soooo disappointing!
