Should we make her move schools?

Can you give me a bit of advice please.

We're moving house this summer and my daughter will be going into primary 7 in the new term (after the summer holidays).

Should we do the 20 min drive and keep her in the same school she is in just now with all her friends (none of them will be going to her secondary school in a few years)?
OR
should she join a new primary school, 5 min walk, in her new area and meet new friends in primary 7, so she'll know a few faces when she goes into seconday school in a few years time?

Thank u

If you think she can handle it, I'd move schools. She'd make new friends for moving to secondary and a 20 min drive makes it hard to go to after school clubs and play-dates. But make a conscious effort over the first term to catch up with old friends at the weekend to ease the transition.

I would move schools.

It's hard enough being at a new high school, without not knowing anyone
