Please help me find some autumn/winter trousers!

As per title - to give you an idea of my current style - in the summer, I wear Forgotten Tribes trousers and I've just got some Lucy & Yak Alexa trousers, which I love.
I would like to get some warm/cosy trousers that will go with DMs and Converse. Elasticated waist is a must! Preferably black. Less casual than joggers but less formal than office wear (as I wfh).

Please help!

Marks and Spencer trousers are really good for variety and styles at the moment.

I've tried these out but didn't keep them as I am in-between sizes (losing weight at moment) Corduroy relaxed trousers and they were very comfortable

I worry that - being neither young nor sleek of figure these days (I look OK but not a clothes hanger figure that you get on older models IYSWIM) I will just look like my trousers are too short, rather than I am achingly trendy.

In better news I see lasses wearing bootcuts without the Star Trek Ankle Flash so there's stuff for everyone!
