Christmas gift set for an October birthday?

I have a friend with a late October birthday, I'll be seeing her in early November to celebrate.

She loves L'Occitane products, and I notice that this year's christmas gift sets are absolutely stunning and decent value too. And easy to wrap.

She'll get more product and a lovely box too, but is it weird/naff to give a christmas set for a birthday?

I think it's a really lovely, thoughtful idea - something she loves that's a real treat. I would be delighted!
