What to wear with sparkly cardi

I bought this today on impulse from Oliver bonas. It’s not really multi coloured sparkle more blue/pink/peach colours as the sparkly bits. I know I can wear it with say black jeans but that feels boring. Not loving the leather midi skirt they styled it with. I’m about 5ft 4 size 14/12 (rather than 12/14 if you know what I mean) and a bit pear. Any suggestions would be really welcome 🙏

I would wear that with wide leg jeans or for more dressed up with this skirt which as a bonus is very comfy

Ah. I came on to say a leather midi skirt.

Mini pie, can I ask if there’s a lot of volume in the skirt? I’m a sucker for the 50s shape. It looks as if it could be petticoated out a bit?

@Medlady yes a fair amount of volume, not as much as a circle skirt a la Vivienne of Holloway or similar but it is nicely swishy. Reckon you could put a petticoat under although it would need to be the right length.

@Britneyfan and @Idratherbepaddleboarding I love both of those just as items of clothing in themselves. Thanks everyone I’ve a few things to buy anyway. Hopefully I’ll like one of them with the original cardi!
