Rainy/humid weather hair and make up

Is it just me or is anyone else finding their hair and make up look awful in this rainy/humid weather?

I have a bob haircut and add some waves with my straighteners to style it - well all that falls out within 10 minutes outdoors now and it just ends up looking limp and shapeless.

I've also noticed my make up doesn't look right - yesterday I looked in the mirror at lunchtime and my skin was looking shiny especially on the t-zone area like my make up had just melted off. It was worse than it was during the hot summer weeks!

Are there products that are more weather proof? If so what should I look for?

You are not alone. My hair is bob length and also thin on top. But if I go out in this weather even for a moment it goes to a tight frizz. Coz of the quality of my hair it takes a lot of hard work to give it a semblance of style.

I'm going to an important family event and have decided to cower indoors today to avoid any damp. I won't have time to wash and style in the morning. And hopefully it is dry tomorrow.

I've seen color wow dream coat to deal with the frizz but a) you can only use that and no other products at the same time - I need something for body b) it didn't work that well when I tried it
