Silver Wedding dress???

Where might I find such a thing?

I'm trying to help my sister who wishes to get married in a silver wedding dress she's unsure of the exact style, but this appears to be quite important to her.
Any ideas on where I can find a silver wedding dress?

My Mum has offered to make her a dress if she can't find what she's looking for, however I really don't think this is the best idea for many reasons not least mother daughter pre-wedding stress levels, not to mention memories of a dress she made for me once and that had nowhere near the importance of a wedding dress but I remember being really disappointed

I'm worried she'll end up in grey and it'll grey her skin and leave her looking ghastly.
I should probably mention she's getting married outside(in Australia)

oh lordy no idea sorry - I got married in ice blue and had the fabric sourced through a dress maker - probably her best bet

Could she go to a dressmaker, unless there are some fab suggestions on here of course.

Are wedding dresses from dressmakers more expensive than normal 'off peg' dresses. she's not got much money as she's emigrating at the same time.

no, mine cost me £600 and I got exactly what I wanted as opposed to off the peg

I am wearing a silver wedding dress this Fall and got it from tadashicollection.com it is from the Spring 2008 Shoji collection. Look at that collection and there are several beautiful dresses that come in silver and pearl. I abhore the traditional white wedding dress look and love the dress because I would wear it again to formal events.
