Can anyone recommend an eyelash serum that actually works?

I have short, straight lashes and just looking for an eyelash serum that will help my eyelashes grow. I've heard Nanolashes is good.
Have you used something that actually worked?

Nyk1 worked for me! I had to stop for a bit as they were getting so long.

Thanks everyone, I will definitely check out UK Lash and Revitalash, the one with prostaglandins sounds too risky. I don't like the idea of it changing the colour of my eyes

Revitalash and UKLash both contain prostaglandin, albeit at a lower dose than Latisse.

@Disappointedsofa both of those are prostaglandin based. I’d be v careful, it’s not just that eye colour can change it’s that you can suffer fat loss around the eyes.

Disappointedsofa · 20/10/2023 22:41

Oh ok, in that case , I might give them a miss. Thank you both for letting me know @ChilliPB @DrMarshaFieldstone

You could try a peptide based serum. As I said upthread I had great success with Beauty Pie. The Ordinary do one too and it’s fairly cheap.

AllWeWantToDo · 20/10/2023 22:57

I've been using revitalash and revitabrow for about 4 months now, thet definitely work on me

Eyelash serums do not work. That's not how biology works. Better mascara is your only option

Not true. I used revitalash and my eyelashes were about twice as long and lots of people (inc beauticians) thought I had fake eyelashes. I stopped using it though as I started getting long dark hairs on the skin under my eyes where is was obviously migrating to.

I use the Ordinary one and can recommend that as a peptide based option.

Tried Sweed, didn't notice any change, I think a lot of the glowing online testimonials can't be for real. Feel silly I wasted the £££.

picturethispatsy · 20/10/2023 23:41

For something natural you could try Castor oil. It’s been used for hair growth for centuries.

imnottoofussed · 22/10/2023 21:48

NYk1 doesn't contain prostaglandin

HollyGolightly4 · 24/10/2023 09:22

I really like the Maybelline one. It's definitely had an impact on my eyelashes. Plus, I use the primer as well, which I sometimes just use in place of mascara!

Crabward · 29/10/2023 20:43

Ive come here from the mumsnet email and Im really annoyed that the model for this is really obviously wearing falsies in the after pic

LadyGeorginaSmythe · 29/10/2023 20:50

UKLash works for me. I used it regularly for 3 months or so and people noticed the difference. Nowadays I tend to only use when I have broken lashes to encourage rapid repair/growth.

Beautifulones · 05/03/2024 22:25

Liaison is brilliant. My lashes are thicker longer and darker. I do put it on every night. I noticed a difference after about 2 months. I've now been using it for 2 years. Definitely recommend it 😊

Darklane · 13/09/2024 20:47

I used UK Lash. My lashes did grow long but I stopped using it as the skin on both my upper & lower lids turned deep purple. Looked like I had two black eyes.

ElDee33 · 24/01/2025 11:56

Hi, I know this is an old post but I just wanted to throw in my two cents. Has annyone used both Revitalash annd UKLash? I have previously used Revitalash and it was so good I was getting mascara smudges in my eyebrows. Those are my real lashes. But it has gone up about £25 since I last bought it. Is UK Lash as effective or is the effectiveness reflected in the lower price?

Ive switched to UK lash and not had nearly as good results unfortunately. Revitalise was astonishingly effective. UK lash isnt wowing me

My DD couldn't tolerate UKLash it irritated her eyes . I got the brow/lash set (lashes for her , brows for me)
I noticed it smelled nasty after a short while .
This was from a verified supplier .

So we use Revitalash , yes it is ££ , I buy from the verified website and look out for special offer bundles .I'd rather spend the money for results than waste it on a dud

I did post on here before and reading that I was trying the ELF one , it must've done diddly as I never re bought it .

ElDee33 · 24/01/2025 12:28

thank you, that’s really helpful. Revitalash it is!
