I've recently switched jobs, and my new office falls more on the middle of the smart-casual spectrum as opposed to my old office where jeans or even joggers and t-shirts reign supreme. I've finally found trousers that work for my shape and are acceptable under their definition of smart-casual. (https://www.muji.eu/uk/product/womens-4-way-stretch-slim-chino-trousers-17306.muji) I now have that in navy and green. What I'm struggling with is what top to wear with it and how (tucked in or tucked out?). My primary work shoe of choice is https://www.onitsukatiger.com/us/en-us/mexico-66/p/ANA_DL408-0101.html.
Looking around the office, I see linen collared shirts, sweaters, and the occasional short sleeved shirt. We're on our way to summer too so I'm not looking to layer up which makes it even more complicated imo!
I was thinking of something like this but I wondered if it'd look too casual tucked out. https://www.uniqlo.com/au/en/products/E461143-000?colorCode=COL69&sizeCode=SMA001
I also love mandarin collars, colour-block stuff, and turtle-necks. Help please dear fashionistas of MN! 😅
