Size 14 and in your 40s, what are you wearing?

Just that, really. I'm feeling in a bit of a style rut recently, and looking for inspiration of what people are enjoying wearing! My DS has just started school so I don't need to constantly be in scruffy jeans for running around the park with him.

I'm a pear shape with big hips / arse, I loved wearing tea dresses and brightly coloured tights in my 30s but I find it's not such a practical look these days.

What are your go-to outfits? Who are your favourites on IG? Any inspiration really!

I follow Chloe Hayward, Brittany Bathgate and Anna Cascarina on IG. All tend to wear plain basics styled nicely. I often wear something along the lines of trousers and a sweater or cardi. If I wear dresses they’re a looser, more modern silhouette than those I wore ten years ago.

Thanks for those @Ormonde , I haven't heard of any of those but I like their style! Nice photography.

I follow Kate Lonsdale (thesilvercat) and Merrick White (merricksart) on IG for inspiration.

I'm wearing straight jeans, with t shirts, jumpers, shirts French tucked (I hate the concept but admittedly it does cut the
Look of my peri belly).
Wider leg pants with shapermint body and an open shirt as another layer.

Oversized bomber jacket with everything.

For going out I've got a couple of silk midi skirts that I'm wearing with a fine knit jumper and a low heel/trainer/flat boot depending on wear I'm going.
