I'm looking at them because there's a discount from Marie Claire.

I have no money but tempted to go for it becasue it's a discount.

Are they really any good? Or should I stop looking and not bother?

Liking the Emily in red (bit bright maybe) and the Mary velvet one.

Any opinions gladly received

Emily reduced anyway, but with discount is £62 down from £165.

I think it might be a bit bright though. Hard to tell. Pinky tone is nice but it looks brash on the other site.

You can;t get a refund on sale stuff and I am poor so have talked myself out of it!

yes the colour does look different on ebags - mebbe haunt a TK Maxx and see if it turns up as it looks like it is on sale pretty much everywhere?

are they still around as a Proper Brand? i thought they were ov-ah. i have a few from teh old days, quality is good imo. like the others have said, they're selling old stock through tk maxx, although they're not great colours etc.

i think orla kiely are quite over-priced, especially as a lot of them aren't leather. do you want patterned, or plain & bright? i have a lovely red mandarina duck one from a couple of years ago. and osprey do nice ones.

anything but that horrid nasty bland 'i spend money y'know' little scotty dog crap with all the pastel colours. whassit called?
