I need a subtle glow and medium coverage. Budget is £30-£40. Usually use IT Cosmetics CC cream or Bare Minerals.
If you also have a great concealer to suggest, please do :)
I always look tired and skin looks dull :(

Have you tried Dior Skin Glow? Not sure on price though I can't remember.

Bohemond23 · 19/10/2023 09:02

Trinny London or No7 serum foundation.

Chanel Les Beiges. Best ever.

I use Charlotte Tilbury "Wonder" it's an illuminating foundation approx £35 and lasts ages.
It definitely gives a subtle glow, reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and makes my skin look younger and fresher.
They also have a huge range of other foundations.
Most large department stores have a Charlotte Tilbury concession where they will talk you through the options and put the foundation on your face to see what suits.
I've spent years trying to find a foundation that suits me, I love Charlotte Tilbury products.
Also if you want a good mascara their Pillow Talk is fantastic

Have you tried a setting spray over your foundation? I use NYX dewy finish setting spray and it gives a lovely finish as well as holding your makeup in place for longer.

CobwebsAndCauldrons · 19/10/2023 09:13

I like Nars Sheer Glow for this.

Trinny BFF

theduchessofspork · 19/10/2023 09:14

try Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser in a space NK - has pretty good coverage for a TM and deffo glowy

otherwise Armani

I add Benefit glow to my foundation to make it more glowy - it’s more subtle imo. I use a Bare Minerals foundation

CoconutRun · 19/10/2023 10:40

Clinique do a really good one called ‘Even Better Glow’

LikeRobbieSays · 19/10/2023 10:53

I use Charlotte tilbury beautiful skin foundation mixed with a tiny bit of their wonder glow primer (comes in a small tube and lasts ages) and I use their setting spray as well

berrypop · 19/10/2023 10:56

Clinique Even Better Glow

WeRateSquirrels · 19/10/2023 11:05

Dcypher - no faffing around trying to choose the right shade and you can choose your glow level.

cloudglazer · 19/10/2023 12:04

I'd look at your skin regime too if you look tired. I have switched to a balm cleanser and it made a massive difference to my skin. Alongside a vitamin boost and a serum. I am a massive Beauty Pie convert. They have amazing stuff.

Works as a primer and a lighter coverage.

Maximum glow-yness

Beauty and the Boutique Sunset Veil. It's supposed to encapsulate the lighting at sunset into the effect - I don't usually believe this kind of hype but my God it's gorgeous. Not heavy or cakey - just enough coverage and a truly beautiful glow. Makes the rest of my make up look even better.

Calypsocuckoo · 19/10/2023 21:05

I have just got the new Mac serum foundation which is lovely, medium coverage, glows and lasts all day. Quite buildable so can get better coverage where needed. £38 in boots or John Lewis. I also like Dior forever which is lovely and lots of shades, but not as glowy. I just love the Mac one.

Talapia · 19/10/2023 21:07

Clinique, Even Better Glow.

ManySmarties · 19/10/2023 21:13

Bobbi Brown Serum foundation or YSL Touch Eclat.
I’d recommend getting colour match at a counter.

No concealer suggestions, I’ve tried so many but nothing hides my dark circles so watching with interest.

Livelifelaughter · 19/10/2023 22:04

Rose Inc tinted serum is very barely there, evens out colour and the other one I have is Hour glass tinted moisturizer - Space NK. I was a massive fan of Charlotte Tilbury but my colour was hardly ever in stock and both these are much lighter.

zeddybrek · 19/10/2023 22:49

Nars sheer glow.
