Wanting to get some smellies for children aged between 11 and 16. Can anyone help with what’s the latest fashion please.
e.g is it still lynx or has that had its day? What’s trending for girls? Not looking for anything to expensive but know that at that age the brand is everything!

I dont know for girls but if any are boys mine all like Paco Rabane Million. not cheap but you can get a nice set online at the moment for £40 something.

Mine all also use Lynx, more the deodorant.

Soap & Glory or Lush maybe? Great range of products & prices.

ChickenSoupAndLokshen · 16/10/2023 20:03

I like Lush products, I just disagree with their stance on trans children, for example. It might not bother you but if it does, perhaps consider a different brand.

Fair point - a lot of their policies are wrong. I was just thinking of popular shopping... thank you for the reminder

My 14 yr old neice was all about Victorias Secret body spray last Christmas. I got them on Amazon.

ChickenSoupAndLokshen · 16/10/2023 20:16

Thanks @LittleMissLife ! ☺️

Roserunner · 16/10/2023 20:23

My DD loves Victoria's secret. Sol de Janeiro is also supposed to be quite popular now as well.

NoSquirrels · 16/10/2023 20:24

Sol de Janeiro v popular. What’s your budget, OP?

What about Ted Baker?

TenThousandSpoons · 16/10/2023 20:45

Sol de Janeiro “bum bum cream” would be a hit with the girls. Look Fantastic website often has good deals.

EllaMenopee · 16/10/2023 21:24

13yo sent me a link to sol de janeiro for her list earlier. Luckily I'll be going through a duty free next week!

Riv · 16/10/2023 21:57

Thank you all so much- it is always a minefield keeping up with the trends which seem to change quickly and the one that was great last month is not welcome this!
Budget is up to £50, but also want some cheaper ideas for “everyday” regular treats to supplement the standard household toiletries when they visit.

Sol de Janeiro spray and Ted Baker perfumes

Before you spend it is worth finding out their views on animal testing.
My Dd will spend ages searching I tend to stick to my comfort zone that I know are safe.
I know Lush isn’t popular for some of their campaigns but I will buy for their non testing ethics

Riv · 17/10/2023 08:03

Thank you again for the animal testing reminder. The older girl is very anti animal testing and the younger one is heading that way- I feel the same, so well worth looking at the company policies.

Is Superdrug’s own range acceptable for everyday sprays etc with teens? Their ethics on animals are reasonable and they were very involved in love island- or has that all moved on now as well?
For the expensive gifts I am hoping to use something like the Boots 3 for 2 (got over £50 in points 😂) so looking at their offerings. There’s definitely some Ted Baker… and Lynx of course!
