Please help me out…Social event coming up, evening buffet in smart hotel for a friend’s 70th. I’d like a pretty and comfortable dress. Budget flexible… up to £250 for the right outfit. . I am 69, 5‘6“, tall, size 14 to 16. All of that is pretty standard, but it’s difficult to dress my large bust. I usually stick to nice trousers and a pretty top, but this time I was thinking of something lightweight and floaty - a dress - maybe with a handkerchief hem ……it will need to have sleeves because my upper arms do not bear close inspection! I have fair hair and pale skin, so pink, blue, purple, Emerald greens, are all good colours for me. I have seen some very stylish suggestions on Mumsnet and I was just hoping you might be able to point me in the right direction.
