I need to replace my fave black trousers that make me feel and look thinner than I am as they are 3 years old and feeling thin. I also need a navy blue v neck (still)

I love White Stuff trousers, esp Calamity Jane cords, available in black in autumn season, but I think in a charcoaly colour at the moment - they are very flattering -low waist and bootcut and I always buy them !

For smart black trousers I think Hobbs is usually good. Did you mean smart or casual?

NAB3wishesfor2008 · 07/03/2008 19:32

I am a SAHM so not to good to be wasted on being at home but a bit smarter than combats.

How tall are you? I just bought some really flattering wide-leg black trousers from Gap. Really comfy and flattering. Can be dressed up for going out to dinner or worn while running round after the kids.

Me and several of my friends bought some black trousers in New Look because of their slimming/flattering properties! They were about £15 and are jean style but not denim and are quite fitted (well on me they are!)but are stretchy so give a bit when you move about too.

I am about 5 foot six. Any links? Hoping to skive off tmw (not that I have any £ to spend.)

Gap are good for black trousers in a range of fittings; otherwise M&S Limited Collection - and they come in a range of lengths too.

NAB3wishesfor2008 · 07/03/2008 20:03

Haven't been in Gap for ages. Are they expensive?

OP posts:
janeite · 07/03/2008 20:23

They're about £40 non-sale but I always wait for the sales and then they are about £15.
