Wondrous tips for fluffy hair that are not CG!

I would love some!

I have mid length blonde fluffy hair, in-between wavy and a slight curl from below the ears down. It is highly porous and quite fine but there is a ton of it (it appears thick tho it isn't)!

I am venturing into heat free for the first time and now the worst of the ends are lopped off I would like to know what might help to 'weight' it down a little? It is very light and a bit like candyfloss which feels as if it wants to defy gravity Grin

I really love the waves but am not interested in curly girl, it did not work for me. I don't have or want defined curls and can't be arsed forcing them. I also love shampoo.
I am very low maintenance so if there is a holy grail, I want to know! I use either a toni&guy leave-in conditioner or Aussie oil, but the oil seems to just sit there and not do anything. Drying in a plait works for me currently.
