Byoma is good, I'm currently using it. I was influenced by the packaging. I prefer Elf skincare, which is reasonably priced, and the cleansing balm is amazing

Have a look at Upcircle - I've just bought a pot of their face cream and it smells amazing.

RampantIvy · 13/10/2023 07:50

I particulrly like Superdrug's Naturally Radiant range.

Tropic

SquashPenguin · 13/10/2023 10:58

@McIntire Tropic is MLM though.

canyon2000 · 13/10/2023 11:00

Weird, why did you copy my post but insert a different brand?

WellThisIsFun1 · 13/10/2023 11:59

Sukin is lovely, especially the greens serum

JudyGemstone · 13/10/2023 12:01

I really like Nuxe Paris. Their lip balm in particular is amazing but all their products are great and not too expensive.

beguilingeyes · 13/10/2023 12:04

Sali Hughes stuff is all cruelty free and vegan.

@McIntire Tropic is MLM though.

I know

that doesn’t mean the products aren’t good though

McIntire · 13/10/2023 16:30

I really can’t understand the issue with MLM tbh.

Tropic is cruelty free and vegan

Second this recommendation, really nice products, cruelty free and will refill empties with more product

SoapCollector · 13/10/2023 18:34

Neals Remedies - good eco credentials, cruelty free, nice products and they also do giftsets.

SoapCollector · 13/10/2023 21:27

Sorry - Neals Yard Remedies

YouOKHun · 19/10/2023 21:28

@McIntire the issue isn’t so much with the products but with the exploitative business model - these companies are not sufficiently regulated and cause huge problems for people who are misled by them.

Neal’s Yard is also uses the MLM business model. The products don’t have to be terrible for MLM to be exploitative.

You need to be checking for what cruelty free entails . I check if products are sold in China which will mean compulsory testing
Elemis now sells in China so I won’t buy this brand now which is a shame because they were a long established British brand with previously great ethics
Nuxe also sells in China

Some products are labelled Vegan Friendly. Not the same as cruelty free

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 20/10/2023 00:08

Lush.
though some of their campaigns and beliefs are not well favoured

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 20/10/2023 00:11

Mario Badescu. My dd has sensitive skin she likes this brand.

SoapCollector · 20/10/2023 09:11

Some products I use are from small business, with good ethics and cruelty free. Some are vegan, lovely products, with some gift sets available.

Scence - Deodorant, lip balms and skin balms.

Lyons Leaf - skin balms.

The natural spa - soaps shampoo bars conditioner bars.

Kutis - deodorant and lip balms

Friendly soap - soap and shampoo/ conditioner bars.

Heavenly organics- face and eye cream, body balms, lip balms.

I've been happy with all the products I've tried from the above 🙂

CobwebsAndCauldrons · 20/10/2023 09:17

The Inkey List?

Good products, good price and verified as cruelty free by Cuetly-Free Kitty....

"Is The Inkey List Cruelty-Free?The Inkey List is cruelty-free. The brand has confirmed their cruelty-free status with CFK. They don't test finished products or ingredients on animals, and neither do their suppliers or any third-parties. We've also verified that their products are not tested on animals anywhere in the world, including mainland China."

I really like Nuxe Paris. Their lip balm in particular is amazing but all their products are great and not too expensive.

Nuxe isn’t cruelty free unfortunately. Ren and Haeckels are nice. Tata Harper’s lovely but spendy.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 20/10/2023 17:09

The Inky List have some really good products, I,ve bought some for my adult DS. The packaging is pretty neutral.

I love the smell of Nuxe but can only appreciate it on other people sadly
