What do I wear with these boots?!

I bought these boots at the weekend, because well, I loved them! However, I have no idea what to wear them with. I (still) wear mostly skinny jeans but feel I might look like a beetle in Doc Martens with these boots and tight jeans. I do wear dresses although not very often, as I'm not keen on the faff associated with wearing tights (plus I'm in the age bracket where tights become the arch enemy when a power surge hits!)

Any ideas?

I'd wear them with mom jeans or jeans that roll up and finish at the ankle. That's what I wear with my dms but I'm 63 and no fashionista so I'm probably doing it all wrong! Not that I care anyway...
