Hunt for the perfect plain cropped t-shirt

I used to buy the Relaxed-Fit Cropped T-shirt for years. They were thick quality fabric, boxy and oversized, and cropped just so that they sat just over your waist band of highwaisted jeans & leggings. I'd like them in white but also pastels, lilac, blue green etc.

Has anyone found the holy grail of tshirts somewhere else?

I found black and white boxy crop with quite a thick ribbed neck at Primark. They are very oversized so I have a 2XS which is still loose on me size 12 and busty. They are lovely cotton though (the white doesn't show underwear through) and have stayed square after washing.
