Murad Resurgence Retinol ReSculpt Overnight Treatment

It's a bit of a mouthful I know but has anyone used this cream.
It's very pricey for me but if it helped reduce my "cat's bum" lines around my mouth it would be worth it.

Not used it, but looking at the INCI list, it's Retinal so more potent than retinol and more easily tolerated by the skin.
It gets good reviews because retinal works...that said, the main ingredients are still glycerine, squalane etc (= good but cheap hydrators)

I can't see what % of retinal it contains.

I use the ELF retinal one which costs £20 and I'm very happy with it. I worked up from retinol to Tret but then took a step back to Retinal and have found my happy point with retinoids.

I agree with Solinvictus, it's probably a nice retinaldehyde serum (which is a step up from retinol) but at more than 100 quid it would want to be miraculous! If you have that kind of money burning a hole in your pocket then go for it, but there are much cheaper retinal serums out there that will do pretty much the same thing.

Medik8 do a Crystal Retinal serum at 0.2% which is very popular, but again quite expensive (I believe about £50), but still much cheaper than the Murad. I haven't used the Medik8 one but it gets good reviews. But as far as I'm concerned still too expensive.

Even cheaper still is Geek and Gorgeous, who do a retinal serum at 0.1%. I used it for a while on my neck when I couldn't tolerate tretinoin, and I noticed it made my skin very soft and supple. The only issue I have with it is the yellow tint, which rubs off a bit on your pillow and leaves a stain.

The ELF one I'm using is bright yellow 😂 makes me look jaundiced at first. I am liking it though (apparently the same % of retinal as Medik8 6)
