These shoes - are they nice or weird?

I can't decide.

Is there something strangely old-ladyish about the toe bit? Could I wear them with trousers?

I think...they look a little old fashioned. Theres something not quite right about them. There are a lot of wedges around, I think even Clarks have some that are a bit more 'withit' looking than those. Sorry, just my opinion! And yes you could wear trousers with them, but maybe not in that colour?

I think there are nicer shoes around.

old lady shoes

Maidamess · 06/03/2008 20:52

if you want a brown wedge I think these are more versatile

Hassled · 06/03/2008 22:03

Thank you all - confirmed my suspicions, but still strangely drawn.

Heel's lush, toe's rank. (unless you've tried them on and you Luurrve them, in which case, don't let a load of strangers online make your decision!)

will your trousers go down to the ground?

actually if I'm asking that they're horrid aren't they?

ladette · 06/03/2008 23:11

On me, they'd look frumpy and horrid. But they'd probably look good on taller, slimmer, trendier people. Try them on and see what you think.
