Sorry - a cardi that's not a cardi?

I'm going on holiday, it's going to be boiling in the day but slightly chilly at night. My day dresses will be sleeveless but I'll need some extra warmth at night.

Not a denim jacket - feels too stiff and structured

Not a pashmina, I want something that just stays in place as I move

So that leaves a cardi, right? But I think that won't look nice (I'm a size 20)

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Jersey blazer? Short kimono?
