pls help me find a wide, not oversized/long, shirt?

I'm trying to find shirts that are wide but not actually oversized in the long sense.

I mean something that's basically a normal shirt length but the body bit is like twice as wide and then the sleeves are roughly just elbow down (i.e. long sleeved).

Ideally with proper collar and some kind of of softish natural material like linen.

I'm perimenopausal and I need items that don't have any material anywhere near my pits to save blushes at work, and I was inspired by watching Modern Love Tokyo on Prime, the lady in episode 5 wears lots of them but my phone won't let me screenshot (e.g. see scene at 21:40)!

Try searching for 'boxy linen shirt' online/eBay/Vinted.
There should be regular length ones among the results. I remember Cos having some during the summer.

Thanks @thedevilinablackdress , I've tried that and I had high hopes for Cos but everything I've found is short sleeve or doesn't have a shirt collar. There were a few possibles on Etsy but I'd rather not buy something that has to be shipped from China which makes it tricky to return if wrong!

I'm not sure "boxy" is what I'm after - I basically want a shirt that's a rectangle in landscape mode with added sleeves, not a boxy square 🙂

I love the M&S oversized linen shirts. I have a couple in white and the blue. They also do bright colours.

@Discwriter yes a bit like that, but wider at the top and the arms ending in proper sleeves.

Re the Etsy one you linked to, IME those one size Lagenlook-type styles are really oversized - it does say bust size 76"! - so likely to swamp you.

76" seems like a bit too wide though 😆

Meh, gap reviews say "Cut is not for chubby women" so possibly not for me!
