I want to ask for makeup shopping for Christmas

I'm in my 50s and if we were in the US I'd ask for a couple of hours in Sephora.
I don't find department store beauty floors very helpful as I don't really know what I'm looking for and which brands to go for. I would prefer somewhere with one advisor recommending a range of brands.
For skincare I use Clinique (and I like their chubby sticks) and A.Florence as I have very sensitive skin.

I stopped wearing makeup for work at the start of the pandemic and have basically not worn it except for Zoom interviews or about 3 nights out I've been on since then (seriously - I have no friends and we have no babysitting).

I used to use Bare Minerals, random eyeliners, random mascaras, and Chubby sticks.

I'm in the NW so anything in Manchester or Liverpool?

How about the Beauty Concierge Makeover at Selfridges in Manchester? Scroll here:

Or the Beauty Studio at HN in Liverpool. It’s all beauty in the store and the Studio experience seems to offer free choice of brands.

(I haven’t actually used either myself, but they’re both nice places to be, with friendly, non-pushy staff.)

Those look perfect! And also a specific booking/price so I don't get my DM saying "oh I'll just give you money" and me never booking it.
