My friend in Australia bought some and has lived in them ever since. They are good for arse lift apparently (not a problem I suffer from, coming from The Beyonce school of bottoms)

greenday · 06/03/2008 16:36

They are FABULOUS! I swear by them!
When I first bought them, I wasn't so sure if they were worth the price, so I thought I'd sleep in them for the night to guage the comfort level! They hold your bottom up and tight .. what more reason could anyone want.

However, I wasn't so impressed by the maternity jeans though - they don't hold up well.

I have worn two pairs to the point of near death for 2 and a half years. Hollywood Hills they are. I've got a 32 and a 31 and I'm a 12/14 but usually fourteen. The 32s are a little bit big but fine with a belt.

They are wonderful for flabby tums. I can look grim in that area but not in me Paige's.

incy · 06/03/2008 18:02

They sound just what I need (post 2 children I need a lift) very excited now !

Mine are Melrose (which I LUUURVE!!) and Laurel Canyon. In my pre-pregnancy days, I was a size 12 and my Melrose were a 29. I'm now in post-pregnant stage so those jeans can't even go up my thighs but I'm determined, I hope, to fit into them again.

Tutter · 06/03/2008 18:41

i have hoolywood hills, laurel canyon and melrose

latter not so good i thinkl (straight leg) - I'M LARGE OF MIDRIFF oops and slim of leg so need a decent bootcut

hoolywood hills most flattering for me

greenday · 06/03/2008 19:23

what's hollywood hills like? is it bootcut?
is it cheaper to buy it off revolve clothing website?

Tutter · 06/03/2008 19:25

yes, similar to laurel canyon

i think i paiud $165 from revolve

but did have a customs bill

Tutter · 06/03/2008 19:27

here

greenday · 06/03/2008 19:28

How much was the customs bill if you don't mind me asking? Did they work out to be cheaper than buying a pair here in UK (about 170pounds)? I nearly bought a pair off the Paige website but got put off by the customes bill.

Tutter · 06/03/2008 19:30

am trying to remember how much i paid

god i don't know

maybe £80? but that was 2 pairs plus 2 tops

Tutter · 06/03/2008 19:31

def still loads cheaper though

greenday · 08/03/2008 10:34

wow! that's great! I'll definitely be buying via the website! thanks!

Toots · 17/03/2008 12:20

Tutter. I need more Paige's Am an apple with alright thighs but slightly chunky knees. Want a straight pair to sit tighter to boots than the Hollywood Hills. What's wrong with Melrose? And has anyone got Blue Heights? which have a 14inch leg opening, so not exactly skinny....

Tutter · 17/03/2008 12:22

nothing at all wrong with melrose

in fact i am sporting mine today

i just prefer a wider bottom (snurk) to mine - helps to balance wide midriff

TheHonEnid · 17/03/2008 12:36

tempting

Tutter · 17/03/2008 12:41

now enid teh pockets on my hollywood hills are nothing like that

but possibly just a seasonal variation..?

Toots · 17/03/2008 12:44

Fancy you two jeans girls being on just when I needed you! Yes, I adore my hollywoods but just want less at the bottom. I'm going to run away and try Melrose's at Trilogy near Sloane square before buying through revolve or ebay (revolve dont have 31s at the moment).

Tutter I may too have the balance issue but won't know until I try. I love Paige I actually love her and all she has done for my lower half.

Toots · 17/03/2008 12:45

I think seasonal variation. Sheesh, I must do some work.

TheHonEnid · 17/03/2008 12:47

not loving the pockets

might get dh to buy me a pair when in the states next month [pictures poor harrassed dh rifling through racks of jeans ]

do you thihnk I could get them delivered to his hotel??

Tutter · 17/03/2008 12:49

you know what i would do? i'd call up a stockist in the city he's visiting, find a friendly assistant and get he to find your pair to put aside for him
