Need help from experts in garment care!
I have a coat which was mistakenly put in a 40 degree wash, instead of being taken to the dry cleaners 🙄
It is a woven black and white checked pattern, and the white bits were previously a true bright white. They are now...not quite grey, but decidedly dingy looking and the whole coat is basically ruined for me... the white was so flattering and smart, and now it makes me look like death :-(
Is there anything at all I can do to remedy this? I attach a photo of the coat fabric, and of the label which explains the fabric composition (though it doesn't add up to 100%, weirdly - 56% polyester and 24% cotton).
Thank you in advance for any ideas!
