Just that really.
I'm going on a mini break and have no idea what to pack and wondered if anyone has any suggestions. Is it really cold?

Depending on how many days - a few thermal vests and a good jumper.I also would take some Ugg like boots (I just got the cheap fakey types) as they are warm and great to walk in too!

Layers. Wool, preferably. A wool shawl is a good call, a snood (because your face will absolutely get cold), boots with good grip, and a waterproof puffer jacket. Hat and gloves. Take an umbrella too.

I'm here now and it was 15 degrees and bright sunshine today. We were far too warm. Let's see what tomorrow brings.

I'm in Krakow as well this week. Yesterday was beautiful sunshine and we were sunbathing in the main square- I didn't wear a coat at all yesterday until the evening when it was much cooler. We are going to Auschwitz today and I've been told it can feel very cold so I'll be taking a warm coat just in case.

On a different, non-temperature-related note, I’d add that causal is fine for pretty much anywhere you will go. I’ve been to Krakow twice and even for dinner in nice restaurants, jeans and a nice jumper won’t feel underdressed. Enjoy! Yes to layers. And definitely go to the salt mines
