Help me find a needle cord dress/skirt

Its my birthday soon and my lovely mum has offered to buy me a new dress/skirt (£120 approx). I am rather partial to a needle cord outfit at this time of year and LOVE these looks. I prefer a V neck (I've got boobs) and am a 12/14 with good legs/boobs and a thick middle. I need some waits definition so a waist with a full shirk balances me out a bit. Keen on brighter colours; pockets a bonus!

Although I'd love a dress I'm also open to a skirt (I have a lovely Aspiga one from last season) - one that is warm and swishy to wear with trainers or flat brown boots.

Can anyone inspire me?!

The cut on these is much better. I think they could do with a belt, otherwise they look a bit sombre.

Tesco’s cotton needle cord belted dress is £25.

This is easy to wear and is available in several colours.

Ooh I like this, but annoyingly sold out in my size. Yes softness is important, a lot of cord is too stiff.

Seasalt have a few nice needlecord pieces in currently, I’ve got this dress and I’m wondering about buying the skirt.

@minipie might be worth checking your local M&S, they had most sizes in my local branch. Or do a stock alert. It’s a lovely dress, much nicer in real life!

@MmedeGouge i have that dress in Damson and it is beautiful!

Watching with great interest. I love some of these, especially the Seasalt ones, but I can't cope with 'notch necks', as I can feel them touching my skin. I have to have proper shirt collars so I can wear them open. I'm also very short and skinny and flat chested so would look ridiculous in some of the sack-type offerings. I can't cope with things touching my waist, though, so am bloody difficult to please. However, I've got the jade White Stuff dress, and it's not bad. It's not brilliant, but it does the job and - importantly for me - I can't feel that I'm wearing it.

Another good thing about the White Stuff one is that it doesn't have breast pockets. I have no idea why anyone who invents clothes thinks they're a good idea.
