i've got fine, wavy, layerd, longish hair, that seems to damage quite easily

i want some straighteners but i'm not too bothered about mega heat as i don't want stick straight hair, just sort of tamed.

i'm more bothered about getting the least damaging ones.

i am thinking either T3 or FHI

please advise and tell me what you know

My hair is similar to yours and I have T3 ones. THey seem pretty good because they have a temperature dial so you can have them really low if you just want to smooth your hair or higher if you want it straight. I don't know if all have this now but I know mine go much lower (ie cooler) than GHD ones do, which means less damage.

Have you tried serums and combing or blowdrying it straight?

i'm rubbish at blow drying. tried using straightening brushes and allsorts. find it best to run straighteners through, much less time consuming for me anyway!

have you found any drying or damage with the t3's beanstalk?

No but I don't use them that often to be honest, maybe once a week. I think any straighteners will damage your hair if hot and used a lot. I thought the T3s were good because of the lower temperature though, so you can give your hair a break by not scorching it every day!
