Hi , I'm trying to find some knee length boots that I can actually get my foot into! My requirements are:

•Black leather
•Riding boot style
•Will fit an orthopaedic insole without squashing my foot*
•can easily get my ankle around the corner of foot of the boot and the leg of the boot. More room at ankle possibly?*
•can zip up over my calves which are currently 18 inches at their widest.
•don't cost the earth.

*I broke my ankle last year and I still experience stiffness and occasional swelling where it's been surgically pinned. I've also developed fallen arches

Any recommendations? Anything higher than a low heel is a no go.

If you've got cash, Duo Boots. Otherwise Evans or Simply Be.

Duo boots, cone on every Calf size in 2cm increments.

Often on ebay if you keep an eye out.
