How to Wear Corduroy?

Without looking like you are in a fancy dress or a boho, Per Una kind of girl?

I love corduroy softness and richness of autumnal colours but boho style is just not me. What do you wear with it?

I never saw corduroy as particularly boho. I am not boho at all. I just wear it! With flat or Chelsea boots. Cord trousers with a plain black wool jumper don't strike me as that boho. Maybe with a peasant blouse, yes.

I love corduroy, but haven't worn it for years because I hate the way everything sticks to it - random bits of fluff/wool/hair.

I used to wear corduroy when I was younger, went in to fatface to try on the cropped wide leg cords, well they looked ridiculous on my short legs, the length was wrong sitting on the top of my foot, and they were big for a size 10, maybe I should of tried the size 8 but the length would of still been too long.

I would consider wearing it the same way you do denim. For example cord mini skirt and then a season appropriate top.

I wear corduroy trousers all through the winter and I am far from boho. As PP said, its basically denim for cold weather.

You don't have to wear it as massive bellbottoms, you can get cord skinnies, straight, tapered etc.
