What to wear with this dress?

What would you wear with this dress to a wedding at the end of October? I've black almost knee night boots I was considering or black lace up shoes.
Bag?
Cardigan?
It's darker than it looks in the picture, so I hope it's not too black for a wedding?

With the flared hem I’d say it needs heels.

Both my shoes and boots have heels.

Wearing black accessories is going to make the overall look much darker.

Can you wear a different colour - gold or bronze, or tan at a pinch.

That would be better, yes but appreciate that's tricky. Don't all have to be the same colour.

Black strappy would be better than black knee high or ankle

I do have black straps sandals that might still fit me... I was going to wear closed shoes though as there will be a fair bit of walking/ bus etc and we're there for the whole day.

when you say that do you mean they should all be bronze but it doesn't matter if the shade is different on each? Or do you mean not the same colour like a dark green bag, bronze (or silver? Most of my necklaces are silver) cardigan and I don't know what shoes (because I only have black or purple heels)!

You could do silver rather than bronze.

Dark green bag, black shoes and a cream coat would work, for example.

If you'll be uncomfortable in the shoes, wear the boots.

I would use a cream colour clutch. A posh one.
