Brown skirt. What to wear with.

Ive seen a brown corduroy short skirt that I like but I'm wondering what to wear it with. Are black tights and boots a big no no with brown?

I don't think black and brown is an automatic no at all. Very much depends the shade of brown, all but very dark brown can go really well with black.

I think black tights and boots would go well with a brown corduroy skirt. A black top, especially a knit of some kind, may also look good so that the only brown is the skirt. Could look very chic as can black and navy.
