What to wear under mohair or other itchy jumper

I’ve got a lovely &otherstories mohair blend jumper which whatever I wear under it it’s always itchy. What can I wear under it? Any ideas?

DM also has a jumper not sure of blend but it makes her itch so she can’t wear ii either.

We’ve both tried H&M/Tu long sleeved tops, her also Jigsaw long sleeved top, plus Uniqlo heat tech long sleeved and their other long sleeved tops.

I tend to wear M&S cotton long sleeve tops under anything like mohair, lambs wool I find the worst for itchiness and need 2 layers underneath.

Maybe 2 layers is best.

You could try an M&S or other thermal top underneath.

I just wear a cotton top. I don't have any mohair but I wear both lambswool and merino jumpers. I wear jumpers with short sleeves under when it isn't winter and haven't had them itch.

We’ve both tried all options but we still itch. No eczema either.

Running out of options! Would a silk or silk blend maybe work better?

Oh no, I saw the thread title and came on to recommend Uniqlo. I live in uniqlo long sleeve heatech tops under knitwear (keen knitter) for most of winter. Sorry they don't work for you!

Would a shirt have a closer weave and be better at keeping stray hairs out? So not a stretchy T-shirt, but an actual shirt/blouse?

I can only deal with wool or mohair if I wear a long sleeve turtleneck underneath. May not be the best look but it's that or don't wear them.

I have this problem and use Benetton long sleeved cotton t-shirts as they are thicker than other brands, but some have low necks, which is a no go.

Actually it probably would work!

I’ll look at Benetton online thanks.
