Which Winter Coat Should I Invest in?

Looking for a midi length coat to wear on a day out, going out for lunch, spot of shopping, exhibition etc. I already have a duvet puffer coat that I lived in last winter but would like to something dressier to wardrobe. Budget under £300. Any ideas are welcome - it’s more a question of style than specific model. My personal style is quite versatile but not boho and the puffer already ticks a sporty look. Thank you.

I just bought a teddy bear coat from Uniqlo, second hand on Vinted. I have a superdry puffa and a gilet as well for dry days. Some lovely coats on Vinted in that price. Saw a gorgeous Max mara camel cashmere one bnwt

There are some nice wool coats in Next. Ive ordered two beige/cream ones to try on.
Not sure if Next is too under budget for you though!

Hush have a couple of gorgeous wool ones. I think the trench and Crosby styles are still very in this year and likely next as well. They do smart- casual, smart and fancy well.
