Colour pallete help, please! Is it possible that I'm a blonde winter?

Any insight/advice/signposting would be appreciated! I need to find a formal frock for a Scottish wedding at the end of November and all of my dresses are black!

I'm early 40s, pale (Celtic) skin with freckles, which come out in the sun. I usually fake tan for events.

My childhood hair was mousey brown, it is currently died ash blonde (I started going grey/white at 19).

I have green eyes.

I know I have a cool complexion but "Spring" just doesn't sit right with me. I tend to wear a lot of black, white (in the summer), olive green, navy, blush pink and occasionally hot pink. I feel my best in a bright red lipstick (with blue undertones) and always wear black eyeliner (possibly ageing, I realise but I can't give it up!)

Anyone able to enlighten me, please?

If you are spring, don't that mean warm not cool, if you suit blue red lippy that's cool tone, I don't know too much about colours, only what I learn from YouTube, you sound as if you are cool by the lipstick, I suit more peach lipstick, so think I am a spring, but I love black and white, and wear brown eyeliner now I am older.

Mousey brown/ash blond hair would generally suggest a summer. Not sure about the green eyes, though. Summers and winters tend to have brown, blue or grey eyes.

Have you tried sitting near a window (and a mirror) in natural daylight and draping different colours around your shoulders next to your face?

I’m a summer and orange makes my skin look sallow and blotchy. Whereas purple just works. Blues, dusky pinks and blue- greens also look good. Black doesn’t clash with my skin tone, but is a bit overpowering and makes my skin look dull.

I suggest you try the following colours in natural light - orange, mustard, beige, peach, black, pure white, cream, royal blue and purple.
